Luvleen Sidhu Reigns as Fintech Nexus 2023 Executive of the Year, Directs Debate on Future of Finance

In an electrifying turn of events at Fintech Nexus 2023, Luvleen Sidhu, the trailblazing Chair, CEO, and Founder of BM Technologies, Inc. (BMTX), was named “Executive of the Year.” The prestigious accolade was presented in the heart of New York City at the Javits Center.

This honor bears testimony to Sidhu’s extraordinary leadership and the innovative strides made by BMTX, one of the nation’s largest digital banking platforms and Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) providers. BMTX, formerly known as BankMobile, continues revolutionizing digital banking by offering affordable, transparent, and customer-friendly solutions.

Sidhu was chosen from an impressive roster of five finalists, including industry stalwarts such as Zach Perret, the CEO and Co-founder of Plaid, and Chris Britt, Founder and CEO of Chime. The panel of judges comprised diverse leaders and experts from the banking and lending industry.

In addition to bagging this coveted award, Sidhu will also participate in a thought-provoking panel at Fintech Nexus USA. The discussion, “Are we moving to a world dominated by embedded finance?” will see her sharing the stage with distinguished leaders such as Alecia Chen, EVP of Operations & General Counsel of Climb Credit, and Sankaet Pathak, Founder & CEO of Synapse Financial Technologies.

Sidhu, a formidable force in the male-dominated fintech sector, also holds the distinction of being the youngest female to take a company public at the time of its listing.
